Pop-ups allow you to generate more leads without sending extra traffic. Considering it only takes one lead to close a sale, it can make a huge difference for your business.
Pop ups are extremely easy to set up (like Dennis shows on screen), and won’t cost you an arm and a leg to reap those extra leads from your funnel. If you use LeadPages, their software has built-in pop ups you can install for free. If you use ClickFunnels, WordPress, or other page builders – a free software like OptiMonk will do the job.
If your business is ready for the advanced options and you aren’t afraid of a steep monthly fee you can use Adoric. Note that the free alternatives are just as good though, providing you with almost the same exact features 🙂
The best way to get the most out of your pop-up is to keep split testing until you find the winner.
Episode includes:
Types of pop-up – Depending on what you are trying to achieve, you can experiment with different types of pop-ups. There are scarcity popups, timed pop-ups, pop-up for content upgrade, exit-intent pop-up and so on. Define your goal for the pop-up then decide the best type to use.
Reasons for using pop-ups – They help you closing lost prospects, offer your upsells for you, generate discounts, offer coupons and so much more. Setting up a pop up like Dennis shows in the video can do wonders to your ROI.
Split testing your pop-ups is ideal – There is no one size fits all when it comes to pop-ups. You have to experiment and determine the best for what you want to achieve.
Split test one element at a time – When split testing, don’t change too many variables all at once. Keep the traffic source the same and test a single element at a time. For example you can change only headlines of the pop-up to see which performs better.
Keep your pop-up designs simple – Keeping the elements of the pop-up simple makes it more effective. It grabs attention better and helps the prospects follow through.
Make it easy for prospects to get back to your page- Ensure that there is an obvious way for prospects to get back to your page after the pop-up has done its job.
What’s next?
– Identify the aspect of your funnel that can be improved with a pop-up and create one for it. Ensure that you split-test and go with the option that works best.
